The anime, “Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious” is an adaptation of a popular Light Novel with the same name by White Studios. Not to brag about anything at all but the studio has worked on remarkable anime like Steins; Gate and Re: ZERO. The anime recently wraps up its first season and fans are now wondering if there will be Cautious Hero Season 2. As for the plot, you might find various similarities in this anime and KonoSuba. The plot revolves around our overly cautious protagonist Ryuuguuin Seiya who got summoned by the goddess Ristarte to save Gaeabrande the world from destruction, the hero trains hard to for this journey.

The Shincou Yuusha anime is coming from Studio White Fox. So it is obvious that the animation is going to be of top-notch quality. The anime didn’t have that many battle scenes, to begin with, however, regardless of the scenes, the character’s designs and the animation has been A1 in the first season. Fans do have high for Season 2, let us hope for the best.

We can assure one thing for sure if the anime is being animated under the same studio then expect some great animations coming in for the second season as well.

As for the content of this story, there’s the way so much to the story left. Currently, the story has gone up to Volume 8, and there are high chances of a new volume as well. The first season of Cautious Hero didn’t have a decent ending. The ending turned out to be quite emotional, and we still have no answer to what will happen to Seeiya and Ristarte. We still need an explanation to the ending.

Cautious Hero Season 2 Release Date

As we said, there are no updates regarding the production of the second season of this anime. But, usually, it takes 1 year to animate a 12-episode series like Cautious Hero. So even if the production gets green-lit, it will take at least a year to finish the production and air the anime’ 2nd season.

Shinchou Yuusha 2nd Season Updates

As we said, the story continues in the manga. Even though Seiya and Ristarte have saved Gaebrande from the fear of the Demon Lord. They did break the order. Now, no matter what the reason was, Crime is a crime. Either Ristarte is going to be stripped of her role as a goddess, or as a divine punishment, she will have to save another world with our overly cautious hero.

I still have way so many spoilers I could offer you, however, I’d suggest you read the light novel instead.

Cautious Hero Season 2 will revolve around Seeiya and Ristarte trying to save an SS level world. The creation of this world is somehow hinted in the first season of Shinchou Yuusha. So, rewatching the first season, reading the light novel, or waiting for Cautious Hero Season 2 to be announced are the 3 main options.

There is only one opening theme for the first season of the anime, it is called “TIT FOR TAT” by MYTH & ROID.

As for the ending themes, there have been two EST themes for the first season of Cautious Hero. The last one was actually the opening for the show.
