As per the official website of Gundam: Hathway Anime Film, the movie has been postponed to a new release date. As for the reasons, just like One Piece and Black Clover, the Gundam: Hathway Anime movie has been delayed. The movie was originally slated to release on July 23, 2020. However, due to the ongoing pandemic and the current situation Japan is facing; The production staff decided to prioritize the staff safety and take a break. While the return date for the movie is still unknown, there are high hopes for the movie releasing in August 2020.
The movie is being directed by Shukou Murase(Ergo Proxy) and being written by Yasuyuki Mutou from Deadman Wonderland. Here is the trailer for the movie –
