The Wandering Witch: The Journey of Elaina is based on the protagonist is Elaina who is a magician. She has a dream of visiting different places which she always wanted to go to, After finishing her Wizardy exams and passing them with great grades she leaves for this journey.

During her trip to a place, she encounters a person who looks exactly like her. When she meets this doppelganger, she finds out that her personality and motives are totally opposite to hers. This one is an evil version of Elaina who harms people for fun. The Real Elaina decides to fight this Evil Elaina.
