No Game No Life Season 2 Release Date
Till now there haven’t been any official announcements for the second season of No Game No Life. But apparently Hulu and Amazon Prime have supposed to have saved a slot of the show. People in the anime industry have the notion that the series would be out around the end of 2020 or 2021. But due to the COVID 19 pandemic everything could be delayed.
When will No Game No Life Season 2 air?
Considering that No Game No Life Season 2 will be a big release, and as Kadokawa, the production house is quite busy. And due to the Pandemic will further get delayed. It would at least take a few years before the anime is finished. My best guess would be that the show will premiere around the end of 2021. Or if it gets delayed further it would maybe air in the mid of 2021.
What is the actual possibility of No Game No Life Season 2 happening?
If we take a look at the sales record and the fan base of the show, we know it’s very huge, not the biggest fan base out there but the show’s presence is known. And according to the movie sales and the Blu-ray sales for the anime, it has a huge profit. A single anime 12 episode cour takes around 3 million USD to make which is a lot. But considering the success of No Game No Life, we can be sure that the anime won’t go under losses as people are desperately waiting for a season 2.
The only other reason for a season 2 was a lack of material, I think this was the case in No Game No Life. As it’s originally a light novel, so there weren’t enough volumes to adapt to the anime as most of them were a prequel. And after the movie, we finally have enough material for a second season. The 11th volume should be coming out this year but might get delayed due to COVID 19 and the Mangaka’s declining health.

The story is related to two Siblings, Sora and Shiro. Both are the greatest gamer of all time. When the story goes ahead, they challenge the God of Games and want to claim on god’s throne. They are unknown to the threat of the virtual world where they want to live. After some time, they realize that they have stuck in the game, but somehow they found a way to come back into the real world.
No Game No Life Season 2 will probably follow them further on their journey of defeating all the gods of games and maybe they will confront the god who bought them here. And they both will finally become the god Themselves. At least that’s what I hope will happen.
