About True Beauty

True Beauty is the most anticipated Korean drama of 2020 in December. This series is based on the superhit webtoon of the same name- True beauty. Lim Ju Gyeong is one of the most perfect and beautiful girls in the High School, confident in everything she does, but she is not confident about her appearance.

Lim Ju Gyeong wears makeup to school and lives in a constant fear of her school mates finding out what she really looks like. Lee Suho is a transfer student to the same High School, is the only person who has seen So Kyung’s bare face outside of school but does not seem to recognize her in the school.

Lee Suho is someone with deep emotional scars and seems to take no interest in the kids at school, he seems more than perfect, but all he wants is to be accepted for the person he really is.

Cast :

• Moon Ga-young as Im Ju-kyung : She is bullied for her appearance, which leads her to use make up as a cover, and later due to domestic reason, she changes schools and ends up becoming the Goddess of her new school Seabom High. The real question is for how long can she hide her real face and the person she really is.
• Cha Eun-woo as Lee Suho : An anti social High School boy, with a dark past no one knows about. He wants to be recognized for the person he is and not for the image his father’s wealth has created of him. We will finally get to see a different side of Su Ho in True beauty Episode 9.
• Hwang In-yeop as Han Seo-jun : he was suho’s bestfriend until a tragedy set them apart, he is a hotheaded teen age boy, who often never thinks before doing something. A loyal loyal and sweet person on the inside and a hothead in front of  everyone else.
• Park Yoo-na as Kang Su-jin : An elite student, both beauty and brains, goes through severe domestic violence but never lets it show in front of others. We will get to know more about Su Jin’s past in the upcoming 9th episode of True Beauty K drama.
