10. Josee, the Tiger, The Fish
Well, we would like to begin this list about Upcoming anime movies with something which doesn’t happen much. Josee, the Tiger, The Fish is perfect for that. This anime movie is based upon a 2003 Japenese movie directed by Isshin Inudo which was originally based on a story written by Seiko Tanabe.
This is surely going to be a Tear Jerker, it involves two college students Tsueneo and Josee. Josee Unfortunately is stuck in a wheelchair. This anime will tell us the Mello Dramatic Love life of these two and also the problems they face. My only suggestion while watching this movie is to bring Tissues. The animation is being done by Studio Bones so expect a masterpiece. The movie is Going to come out on December 25, 2020, indeed making it a Christmas Special.
9. Sayonara Watashi no Cramer Movie: First Touch
Sayonara Watashi no Cramer is a Manga series about the Women’s Association Football. There is also an Anime series coming along with a movie for Sayonara Watashi no Cramer. Linden Flims is undertaking this effort of making the movie and the series so I have pretty high hopes for this one. The movie is probably not being directed to everyone but to create awareness for Women about the Football world for them.
The Story for the Manga shows a story about Nozomi Onda. Furthermore, she aspires to play football professionally. But the thing worrying her is that the boys are physically superior to her that is until she meets a boy. The movie and also the anime series is set to premiere in April 2021.
8. Kimi wa Kanata
Kimi wa Kanata is an Upcoming Anime movie which is an original written and directed by Yoshinobu Senu. This is also a mellow dramatic story following Mio. Mio has feelings for her childhood friend, Arata. They both fight regularly, on one rainy day they fight and Mio wants to make up with him. Unfortunately, she gets into a Traffic accident hence somehow getting teleported to a mysterious world.
Kimi wa Kanata is being produced by Digital Network Animation and is set to release on November 27th, 2020.
7. Seitokai Yakuindomo Movie 2
Seitokai Yakuindomi is originally a 4-panel manga which was adapted into an anime. The show is famous for its dirty jokes and comedy. The first movie came out in 2017. The sequel has a release date of Jan 1, 2021.
Well, there has been no more information about the plot for this movie for instance what we can expect is that according to the visual poster the story seems sad. Although we can’t be sure I think there will be a major comedic twist to the movie.
6. Princess Principal: Crown Handler
Princess Principal is an anime series. The series was pretty popular that’s the reason why a six-part movie series will be coming. The First Movie’s release date was April 2020 however COVID happened. Consequently, The New Release Date is Feb 2021.
5. Fate/Grand Order: Shinsei Entaku Ryouiki Camelot 1
Fate/Grand Order is originally an online mobile game. It is the first of the two movies of the infamous Fate/Grand Order Likewise all the movies on the list the release date saw some changes. Accordingly, the new Release Date for the movie is December 5, 2020.
The trailer features Bedivere one of the Knights of the great King Arthur, Shielder(Mash Kyrielight), and Ritsuka Fujimaru in a battle along with the others. It also features the theme song Dokuhaku in the background.

4. Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time
Evangelion 3.0+1.0 is the final film in the Rebuild of Evangelion series. Well Accordingly Rebuild of Evangelion is basically the reboot of the series using more advanced and true-to-life animation with more scenes which were originally not possible. In addition to the change in animation, there will be new scenes and a different ending from the original series. Unfortunately, due to COVID, it has been delayed to some other day which is currently unknown.
The movie is the fourth and final installment in the reboot series. Hideki Anno is the writer and the director of the series. From what I can say is that this may be the last of the Evangelion Flims and will leave the fans, Heart Broken. Well, that’s all we have for Evangelion.

This is the final installment in the Gintama series. It is the third Film in the Gintama series and possibly the last one. Likewise, the Movie will adapt the ending of the Manga with a few twists and turns. Hideaki Sorachi also worked with the staff to bring a fruitful end to this Comedic Masterpiece.
The story for Gintama is set in an alternate version of the Edo-period where the earth was invaded by aliens. The story focuses on Gintama and his daily antics with his friends. The show is popular for its parodies of other famous animes. The comedy is so over the top, the show will keep you happy and dying of laughter in every second of the show.
2. Yuri!!! on Ice The Movie: Ice Adolescence
Yuri On Ice is hands down the best sports anime. It is a show about figures skating also being a yaoi anime. Yuri on ice is a must-watch for any fan of the sports anime or any anime. The beautiful artwork, the animation, and everything about this are great.
Ice Adolescence is the first film in the series. The current release date for the movie is unknown. The movie will surely be a hit among the fans. Also, expect some of the most beautiful animations you have ever seen in a film here.
1. Kimetsu no Yaiba Movie: Mugen Ressha-hen
Demon Slayer, the anime that took the world by storm. Every anime fan knows and has watched this masterpiece. The creators of the show had already planned this and have already made plans for the first movie of the series. Demon Slayer: Mugen Train.
In this movie, as hinted at the end of the first season. Tanjiro will accompany the Flame Hashira in the journey on the Mugen train. They will investigate the series of disappearances happening on the train. The movie has been delayed time and time again due to COVID. However don’t be disappointed the movie will come out on October 16, 2020.
